The Exchange Hotel is a Civil War Museum located in Gordonsville, Virginia. Built in the 1860’s, the Exchange Hotel has a Georgian architecture and a long history. Utilized as a Battlefield-Receiving Hospital during the Civl War, it was turned into a Freedman’s Bureau Hospital during the Reconstruction Era. An old train depot is located on the grounds, as well as a detached kitchen. The Exchange Hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places.
