Yes, you read that right! For the first time ever, we will be having a joint investigation between Scotchtown and Hanover Tavern. Two amazing locations in one night.

Join us as we investigate 8 locations spanning across the Scotchtown and Hanover Tavern properties. All of these buildings and areas are tied in history – from Patrick Henry’s family, the Shelton family, and more.

You won’t want to miss this investigation! For more information and tickets, check the Event Page on Facebook.

This upcoming Wednesday night (June 13), we will be up at Hanover Tavern for the monthly Haunted Hanover Tavern Tours! We will be on-site and hanging out! Come on by (even if you aren’t going on the tour!) and grab some dinner with us! We’ll be talking about the paranormal experiences we’ve had at the Tavern, as well as Scotchtown and other locations we’ve investigated! We will also have our equipment with us for you to check out as well! See you Wednesday!

If you missed us last night on The Freakin’ Awesome Paranormal Show, don’t worry! We recorded the interview and discussion on Facebook Live. Hanover Tavern‘s Executive Director David Deal and Transcend Paranormal‘s Director Steve Dills discussed the paranormal on-goings at Hanover Tavern and the surrounding buildings, and a number of upcoming investigations this year, including our first ever joint investigation between Hanover Tavern and Scotchtown! Check out the video below!

Hey Everyone,

If you didn’t catch us the other evening on Facebook Live, we announced our next big public investigation! For the first time ever, we are partnering up with both Hanover Tavern and Scotchtown to host a joint paranormal investigation; 2 locations, 1 evening!

Both of these locations have ties to Patrick Henry and we are extremely excited to have the opportunity to investigate both in one evening with everyone. Patrick Henry resided at Scotchtown for a number of years while practicing law at the Historic Courthouse in the Hanover County Complex, while frequenting the Hanover Tavern!

More information will be announced soon, so keep your eyes on this site and our Facebook Page!

Hey everyone! We’ll be on The Freakin’ Awesome Paranormal Show Monday, June 4th starting at 8PM EST! We’ll be with the crew from the show talking about our paranormal experiences and talking about Hanover Tavern! So make sure you tune in! The lines will be open for folks to call in with questions or join in on our discussions, so we hope to hear from you!

Happy National Paranormal Day! To celebrate, we’ve partnered up with Hanover Tavern to give away a pair of tickets to our upcoming Haunted Hanover Tavern Tours on May 16th! On this evening tour, you’ll be able to learn about the history of the Tavern, as well as hearing accounts of paranormal experiences many have had at the Tavern!

To enter, head on over to Hanover Tavern‘s Facebook page, like the post and share it. Then, comment on the post who you would take along with you! That’s it!

The give-away will run until Sunday, May 6 at 12 noon. Winners will be contacted at that time to determine which tour time you’d like to attend (8PM or 9PM). Good luck, and see you there!

Tomorrow is National Paranormal Day! To celebrate, Transcend will be heading out to hang out with our good friends Commonwealth Researchers of the Paranormal!

We’re also going to have a small give-away for tickets to an upcoming event we have, so check out our the Transcend Paranormal Facebook Page tomorrow for a chance to win!

Happy hunting everyone!

Hey all! We are all still alive and well! We have been increasingly busy the past few months and have not been keeping as up to date as we should on the website. We have a lot of new locations and events in the works, some of which we will be announcing soon. Keep an eye here and on our facebook page. Drop a like to make sure you keep up with us! Recently, we’ve investigated Henricus Historical Park, Hanover Tavern, and a few other yet to be named locations! Don’t worry, we will name drop soon! In the meantime, happy hunting!

Happy October everyone! It’s that time of the year where the days grow shorter, the nights grow longer, and danger lurks in the shadows. We’ve got a busy line-up once again this year, and we hope you plan to spend one of these wonderful fall evenings in our company. Here’s where we will be. See you all soon!

Ghosts Walk at Night @ Hanover Tavern: October 22nd, 24rd, & 24th

Things That Go Bump in the Night @ Henricus Historical Park: October 27th & 28th

Overnight Paranormal Investigation @ Henricus Historical Park: October 28th

Paranormal Investigation @ Hanover Tavern: November 4th

Join Transcend Paranormal as we investigate the Hanover Tavern this Saturday! We will be investigating a number of locations, one of which we have not been back to in quite some time:

  • The Hanover Tavern and Coach House
  • The Old Stone Jail
  • The Historic Hanover Courthouse, where Patrick Henry practiced the famous “Parsons Cause” case
  • The Historic Nutshell House Grounds and Old Kitchen house

We have not been back to the Nutshell house property since it was demolished in May 2016 and are very excited to see what lingers with the building gone. We will be moving from location to location throughout the night, so please bring your equipment to investigate that you can carry! If you do not have any equipment to investigate with, fret not, you can borrow some of ours!

This is a fundraising event for the Hanover Tavern. All proceeds will go directly to the Hanover Tavern Foundation, a non-profit group who’s focus is to restore, preserve, and utilize the Tavern for generations to come. So not only will our investigation be a blast, but it will also help preserve the Tavern!

Tickets are on-sale now and are available for purchase online. Tickets are limited, so get yours today!

Let us know you are coming on Facebook! If you need to come late or leave early, let us know so that can be arranged!

See you there!
