Spend an evening investigating the beautiful Beacon Theatre with RTL Paranormal and special guest investigators from Transcend Paranormal!
Transcend has been graciously invited to join RTL Paranormal for an evening investigating the Beacon Theatre in Hopewell, Virginia! Join us as Transcend explores the Beacon Theatre for the first time! Tickets are on sale, but limited. This evening will be one not to miss!
We’re all packed and ready to roll! In less than 12 hours, Transcend is on our way to St Albans Sanatorium for Enigmacons 2019! Don’t forget to grab your ticket before it’s too late! $50 gets you into one of THE most haunted locations on the East Coast! You’ll spend the day hearing some fantastic investigators speak, check out all the teams (including ours!), and then get to spend Saturday night investigating St. Albans! Not a bad deal!
For those attending, make sure you swing by our table! You’ll get to hear about some unannounced upcoming events, grab some Transcend Merch, and maybe even have the chance to grab something special…
Scares That Care! is a 100% Volunteer NonProfit Organization that focuses on fighting the REAL monsters of the world – childhood illness, burns, and breast cancer, by helping families that are experiencing these extraordinary hardships cope with the financial burden by raising funds and sponsoring a family in need.
The evening will start with Ghost Tours of the Henricus Historical Fort. Guides will navigate you and your group to different locations at Henricus that paranormal teams, guests, and staff have experienced paranormal activity. There, we will recount those tales – and you may even yourself experience some of the paranormal on-goings on-site! This is an approximately 1 hour tour.
Next, join Transcend Paranormal, Haunts of Richmond, Henricus Historical Park, and many more as we get the evening into full-gear. That’s right – this opportunity was too great to not let our friends get in on the fun. We’ve partnered up with the best investigators in the field around for this evening. Not only will you get to meet the teams, check out their gear, and maybe even buy some of their swag, but you’ll be investigating with them as well!
For the first time ever, go on Paranormal Lockdown at Scotchtown. Spend the entire evening on the grounds and in the building. Find out for yourself what lurks in the dark, long after the last guests leave for the night…
For those staying the evening, it is suggested you bring any necessary supplies you may need (sleeping bag, air mattress, etc.). We will be sleeping in Scotchtown on the Main Floor in designated areas. Refreshments will be provided throughout the evening and a Continental Breakfast will be served.
For those wishing to not investigate all evening, there will be a 3-hour investigation portion of this event as well. Attendance will be extremely limited for the Overnight portion of the investigation!
All Experience Levels Welcome! If you have your own equipment, bring it! If not, we will have numerous investigators on-site that will work with you with their equipment!
This is a Fundraising event! All proceeds directly benefit Preservation Virginia for their continued work, upkeep, and educational programming of Scotchtown!
More information to come and tickets will become available soon.
Join Transcend Paranormal as we go live with RVA Paranormal for their first Live Stream April 9th at 8:00 PM EST. We will be discussing our recent investigation at Patrick Henrys’ Scotchtown inn and Hanover Tavern and the evidence we captured as well as upcoming events and recent paranormal articles in the news.
We will also announce a new event that RVA Paranormal and Transcend Paranormal will be hosting this summer! You will not want to miss this!
It is with great excitement that we are finally able to share with you all a project we have been working on! This coming weekend, Transcend Paranormal will go on a little road-trip up to Washington D.C. There, we will work with Dr Sharon Pajka’s Dark Tourism class for their final project of the semester; performing a paranormal investigation. Built in 1869, the house they have chosen to focus on consists of 35 rooms and was used as not only a residence, but designed to be a center for social life.
We are very honored to work with the students, and look forward to seeing you this weekend!
Keep an eye on the Transcend Paranormal page for updates! You’ll see some of our friends coming along to assist, receive updates, and watch the Transcend Road Trip shenanigans unravel! DC – we’ll see you soon!
Did you miss the amazing lecture John G Sabol Jr. gave at our most recent investigation and Ghost Excavation at Hanover Tavern with our good friends CPRI: The Center for Paranormal Research and Investigation? Fret not! John was kind enough to post all of his lecture notes online! This was a fantastic and thought-provoking lecture that we highly suggest you give a read!
Looking to get into the paranormal? Join us for one of our outings! We’ve got a number of Ghost Walks/Tours, Investigations, and more lined up this Fall!
